The challenge
Spreadsheets couldn't keep everyone in sync.
Stealth Machine Tools sells fiber laser cutters, tube lasers, and press brakes to manufacturers across the country. Orders were being coordinated through spreadsheets, inboxes, and phone calls as the business grew.
Sales reps had limited production visibility. Customers called for updates. Commissions were calculated by hand, and customs documents were scattered across email threads. Each disconnected step created another opportunity for a handoff to be missed.

I designed and built a web platform around Stealth's actual process. Sales, accounting, logistics, customs brokers, and customers each have the access they need to follow an order without piecing together separate systems.
Private order tracking
Customers use a private link to follow their order and receive automatic email updates as it reaches each new stage.
Quotes through payments
Leads, estimates, invoices, and payment schedules connect to the order without re-entering the same information.
Automated commissions
Commission calculations handle split deals and phased payouts. Accounting can review and approve them, while reps can see what is owed.
Broker portal
Customs brokers have secure, read-only access to the shipping containers and documents relevant to their work.
Files with the order
Contracts, shipping paperwork, and customs files attach to the related order and are backed up automatically each day.
Mobile access
Purpose-built mobile screens let reps and field staff check orders and installation schedules away from a desk.
Customer surveys
Surveys are sent automatically at the appropriate point in an order, with the results available only to management.
Full audit trail
Changes are logged with the person who made them and when, creating a clear record of the order's history.
